A FIGURE HAS TO
EARN ITS PLACE.

I buy every figure myself and test it from delivery to display. Value, transformation, and collector joy matter more than the promises on the box.

COLLECTOR LOGIC

Money, transformation & shelf space.

Space is limited and the budget is a teacher's salary. Every figure has to answer the same question: does it bring enough to the collection to earn its place?

FROM PACKAGE TO VERDICT

Four steps. No shortcuts.

Each stage gets room to breathe, showing both the first impression and what remains once the novelty wears off.

ON THE SHELVES

Three lanes. Always in rotation.

The new meets the nostalgic. Scale may change, but every figure still has to bring something to the collection.

Behind the reviews

I'm a teacher, collector, and author. In my 9 to 5 I help young people find the right words; away from the classroom, I write novels and make videos about the figures I have never quite stopped loving. I value curiosity, clear explanations, and humour that does not need to shout.

The reviews bring those parts of me together: the teacher's need to explain, the author's eye for character, and the collector's excitement when clever engineering actually works. I'm patient with complexity, sceptical of hype, and always interested in the small choices that make something memorable.

The camera stays on the figure because that's what is being judged. No sponsored conclusions. No endless shelf. Just the hunt for figures that genuinely are worth the money, the transformation, and the space.
